You were probably redirected here from That was a confession site I ran from 2003 until 2013. It was fairly popular for a while, with millions of visitors and anonymous confessions. The BBC asked someone at the Vatican for a comment and they officially denounced it (don't worry, I'm fine). Simon & Schuster published a book based on it, and it inspired the creation of Post Secret and FML.

Mr Jeffrey,

Thank you. I think your website helped save our sons life. Someone posted a suicide hotline telephone number that was his last call made before we found him. Your website was running on his laptop when we went back to his dorm. He is home slowly recovering and alive to see the New Year roll in. He is my only child and my whole life. He lost touch with us and reality. Hes learning the hard way now and evryday making progress. Thanks you and everyone here for helping to keep my son alive.

Happy New Year and God Bless.

Good day,

This is Michele Norris, host of All Things Considered, on National Public Radio. In case you are not familiar with the show, it’s an afternoon magazine program that airs on more than 700 stations across the U.S. and reaches more than 11 million listeners a week. I’m interesting in speaking with Gabriel Jeffrey on our program about and his upcoming book project, “Stoned, Naked and Looking in my Neighbor’s Window.” (Justin, Charles & Company) We would like to pretape the interview and under ideal circumstances, Mr. Jeffrey could go into a studio in Boston for about 1/2 hour.

Thanks for your consideration
Hope to hear from you soon
Until then, be well,

Michele Norris
